ABOUT DR. TUCKER
Perron Tucker, DMD, is a general and cosmetic dentist at Tucker Family Dentistry, located in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. 
Dr. Tucker is a long-time resident of the Vestavia Hills area. After graduating from Vestavia Hills High School in 1984, he received his undergraduate degree while attending Birmingham-Southern College. He earned his dental degree from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1992, preceding a two-year hospital general practice residency program at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. 
After entering private practice in 1995 as an associate of the late Dr. Frank L. Vines of Homewood, he relocated his practice to the Rocky Ridge Business District of Vestavia Hills in 2009. 
To stay up to date with the latest advances in dentistry, Dr. Tucker maintains professional affiliations with the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association, Birmingham District Dental Society, and is also a Birmingham Society for Advanced Dentistry member. For over 15 years, Dr. Tucker has provided Invisalign clear aligner orthodontic treatments for his patients. He has been, and is presently, an Invisalign Preferred Provider for the majority of that time. Additionally, Dr. Tucker is also a "qualified dentist" member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM ) and has successfully passed his American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) exam. He has past participation and training at the L.D. Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne Florida. Dr. Tucker is a member of the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce and Tucker Family Dentistry is routinely involved in many community projects throughout the year.
Dr. Tucker is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and raising cattle while spending time at his family's farm. He and his wife Cortney reside in Vestavia Hills with their two sons Henry and Charlie, who in their own right, are fans of the great outdoors as well.
