Purists may favor more authentic venues in Monterey Park or Alhambra, but this restaurant (not to be confused with its related, but forgettable, Panda Express fast-food outlets) serves some satisfying Chinese cuisine that has mainstream… Read Full Editorial

I love this restaurant. Their Panda Beef is the best. The Glendale location is good, but I prefer the Pasadena one I think it's better.

Good Food by Tamar I via Insider Pages on 7/2/2009

I love this place very good food and good service. You must come and try it so you'll know the difference between other Chinese restaurant. The waiter was friendly good service.

never going back, at least to that location.... by tigrrrl575 via Citysearch on 10/21/2008

extremely SLOW service, it took 20 minutes to order in a somewhat empty house, might have been understaffed but there is no reason for it to take 20 minutes to bring change back from a $100 bill at the end of dinner, and all $20's at…

Authentic? by anekab via Citysearch on 11/23/2007

If you're looking for authentic Mandarin Chinese food...this is not what you're looking for. Don't get me wrong...I like Panda Inn...my husband and I eat dinner here every few weeks. We enjoy the Orange Beef. They make a decent Mabo…

The Scene
Filled with families with grandparents in tow, this brightly lit chain is not the place for a romantic encounter. Nonetheless, with bustling servers, speedy yet courteous service and spare, geometric decor, the Panda…

My favorite Valley Chinese by dmenkes via Citysearch on 11/14/2006

I have been here several times and just love it. I've been eating at the Pasadena location since I was very young, and have been to others around LA and San Diego, but I have a thing for this one. Before getting to the food, I have to…

Excellent local restaurant by foody4life via Citysearch on 1/25/2006

If you're a scallop lover, I highly recommend the lightly sauteed scallops. They're big, plump, and taste delicious. Noodle dishes are great too. I've never had a bad meal here.

Smokin good by kikaida via Citysearch on 1/5/2006

This place has some great dishes! But the draw back is it is always packed. Which tells you that its good. Kind of pricey but portions are generous and well prepared. Good stuff.

My Review by Jill K via Insider Pages on 12/4/2004

Panda Inn in Glendale has really good Chinese food and is great for lunch and dinner. During the week, it's not too crowded for lunch so you can get in and out fairly quickly. It's great to take a group of people and share dishes. I…
