Colorado native Martha C. Middlemist, MD, graduated from the University of Denver and attended the University of Colorado School of Medicine, completing her pediatric training at Denver's Children's Hospital. From 2005 to 2008, she has served as president of the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her areas of interest include advocacy for the state's under-insured and non-insured children. Married with two children, Dr. Middlemist enjoys most outdoor activities, watching professional sports, and traveling.
