In 1973 the idea for a healthy place where the local community could shop was shared between the Iles and the Hoover Families. The dream was realized when the families' bought a warehouse in a developing part of Altamonte Springs, and Economy Health Foods was formed.
Over the years, the store and our services have expanded. We now offer organic produce and in-store cafe. The name has changed to Hoover's Market, but the founders' mission to have the best products at the best prices is still the driving force. We
only carry brands with clean and earth friendly ingredients. With three generations of Hoovers in the ranks, we are at heart a local business that supports other local businesses, farmers, charities, and schools.
The founders' simple belief that honesty and goodness are the
best policies remains. At Hoover's Market, our desire to serve the community is matched by our drive to constantly better ourselves.
