The company’s current President Gary Hornstra, grandson of the original founder, changed the name to Merchants Solutions in 2001 to reflect the company’s focus in providing total Point Of Sale (POS) System solutions.

Today, Merchants Solutions has become the Midwest’s largest provider of Computer POS Systems and Electronic Cash Registers (ECRs).
