Think Long and Hard before you buy pets from PET EXPRESS!

I was comparing prices for snakes and Pet Express was the most affordable, but the saying is true...you pay for what you get. They were relatively nice and helpful people until I found that the snake wasn't behaving properly and wanted to return it. It states on the receipt that you have fourteen days to return. I bought the snake on tuesday and went back on thursday and they refused to take the snake back. They claimed I signed some type of release form waiving my rights to return, but that is not true. I think I would remember signing some paperwork. Either way Do not patronize this business. I was later told by a totally helpful employee of PETCO that the snake behaved the way it did because the people at pet express did not handle it with their hands, which is the proper way to bring up the animal. PET EXPRESS employees are not trained, they are rude, and they are liars.
Great service

Pet express has been servicing my salt water fish tank for three years now. It has been a difficult task, because they are constantly battling trying to keep the algae from growing from the sunlight, but they always make sure that the tank is at its best. When ever a problem arises, a phone call will have them out within hours. The staff is great and well educated about their business.

I like this shop. It is a small mom and pop place ran by a man who used to work as a marine biologist. So to say the least he knows his fish. For quite some time this was one of the only places you could get your saltwater fish until the petsmart/petco giants moved to town. But by far you get better service and better quality merchandise from this smaller store and they even hold events to raise money and awarness for stray and homeless animals.
