APPOINTMENTSEvery first appointment includes a consultation and will require a little more time. All services require a credit card to hold the appointment. Important: We recommend you arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment without any eye makeup. Why do we charge $150 for outside refills? An outside refill is when you come to HighBrow Lash Bar from another studio or salon - we always include a consultation and assessment of the lash condition. The service fee is higher because we must block off more time to ensure we are able to examine the lash work, cleanup and re-lash as needed.In some cases a removal is required before we can re-lash. When a removal is required, we must wait 24 hours to re-lash or the adhesive will not set properly. In this case the service fee is for a new set of lashes and the removal fee is waived if the lashing is done with us at HighBrow Lash Bar.GIFT CARDSGift Cards are available for purchase at the front desk. We only sanitary equipment & enforce the strict NO Double-Dip policy. Which means the same spatula will NEVER be re-dipped into the vat of wax.The nauseating truth is that double dipping is a common practice in wax application, this method uses the same spatula for the entire treatment, re-dipping the used applicator back into the vat of wax. This contaminated wax is then reused for treatments on other individuals, unfortunately, this technique can increase the chances of potentially harmful bacteria spreading from one client to another, which is particularly disturbing when dealing with the bodys nether region (aka bikini area)HighBrow Lash Bar will NOT perform bikini treatments on any menstruating client. Generally, it is best to get a bikini treatment at least one week before or after your period. In addition to the obvious hygiene safety issue for both client & specialist, the closer you get to your actual period, the more sensitive your body becomes.
