A spectacular setting on Lake Tahoes north shore with 500 feet of private, lakefront beach. Surrounded by towering pines and mountain greenery;35 miles to Reno/Tahoe Intl Airport;40 miles to South Lake Tahoe Airport. Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino was recreated in the classic style of a 1920s alpine grand lodge. Exterior renovations of the Spa Terrace guestroom wing complement the natural environment with colors echoing the tradition and sense of history of the original homes built in the Tahoe area. Extensive river rock landscaping and two outdoor fireplaces add to the guests' sense of arrival at the Old Tahoe-Lodge style entrance. The resort's Grand Lobby boasts crafted stonework, creating a cozy setting amid the warmth of an oversized double-sided fireplace, rich leather chairs and high-beam ceilings. The 422 guestrooms, including 24 lakeside cottages, have been decorated with natural pine, distressed wood, and leather furnishings, reflecting the setting with autumn colors of moss, brick red and wheat. Included in our Lake Tahoe resort's $62 million transformation was the addition of the Spa Terrace, a new three-story wing adjacent to the main 12-story hotel. Offering 138 luxury guestrooms with views of the Sierra Nevada skyline. Upgraded room types available with private balconies. The Spa Terrace replaces the resort's former Aspen Terrace and overlooks the resort's new swimming pools.

The Scene
Bordered by dense forest and peaceful lakefront beaches, this is one impressive log cabin. The large but surprisingly warm lobby has rustic, wood-beamed ceilings, leather armchairs and small wooden rocking chairs--it is… Read Full Editorial

The Hyatt in town has a casino where I've played in a few poker tournaments.

When you pull up, it looks like every other, Hyatt, Holiday Inn, Hilton style hotel. When you go in however, your perception changes. The staff ar

Beautiful Setting on Lake Tahoe by J P via Insider Pages on 11/8/2006

The Hyatt at North Shore Tahoe is in a beautiful setting. They renovated last year and it looks like an elegant mountain cabin. The restaurants are just OK, just like most in Incline Vlg. The Lone Eagle on the Lake has a spectacular view…

This is a nice Hyatt located in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. I really like the casino and restuarants here. If you are here you have to go see the lake.

This is one of the Best places you can stay in Lake Tahoe. It is very nice, clean, and the service is great! The front desk will help you with any problems. They also have a little room where resort guests can use computers and printers…

Luxury! by Susan A via Insider Pages on 6/20/2005

On the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, it includes six restaurants (dinner, buffets, etc), mountain elegant guestrooms, cottages, and suites as well as a year-round heated pool and spa. They also have an enormous casino! Room service at a small…

Over rated? by momeban via Citysearch on 5/26/2005

Yes, the hotel is located convenient to Lake Tahoe, and it is beautiful there. But I was not impressed with the services at all. We were there for 3 days, and the electricity was cut off due to maintenance on 3rd day. I would…

Good Times by sfbarspider via Citysearch on 10/29/2004

The Hyatt is always a good place to frequent for gambling or lodging...especially with the great spa services! Summer time or winter times- doesn't matter....shakem up!

Major Disappointment by ktindc via Citysearch on 7/29/2002

Don't be fooled- this hotel does not sit directly on the lake- the image that they show on the internet is a picture of their beach site, not the hotel. We were also disappointed when we learned that they are currently under…

High class gambling getaway by youngblood58 via Citysearch on 6/16/2002

If you're tired of Vegas, but you love to gamble, I would recommend going to Tahoe. You're out in beautiful N. California and next to one of the pretties lakes in the country. Also, you can party and gamble at will. Great combination,…
