This famous Portland donut shop is as entertaining as it is delicious. Kids will love scoping out the fun varieties, even if some of the donut names... Read Full Editorial

You should try their glazed donuts. It is sweet but not to the point that you feel overload with sugar. Great also for health-conscious people.
My Review by laurah1267951869 via Citysearch on 10/20/2014
Spoke to manager Jeff about a rude cashier, he barely said anything, didn't even apologize, never again Voodoo, from reading other reviews, looks like you have a chronic rude, and huge attitude problem with your cashiers - good luck.

I know people rave about this place but give me a Krispy Kreme any day. Just not my scene, esp with a constant line down the street.
Completely overrated. Anybody can dip a by rainyd1087748626 via Citysearch on 4/23/2012
Completely overrated. Anybody can dip a doughnut in cereal and serve it stale. They are not customer friendly and establishments are dirty. Cash only with a broken ATM is inconvenient. I'd much rather have a fresh doughnut, friendly…
Great Doughnuts but not worth the wait by Amanda M. via Judy's Book on 1/19/2012
Waited almost 20 minutes in line, Yeah they are good but so are many other places in Portland. I would return when it's not as crowded but not going to wait again.
Rude Employees to First Time Visitors by kmmmm via Citysearch on 8/6/2011
August 6th 3:30pm- We waited in line for 45 minutes in a hot unairconditioned room. Then when we were at the front of the line we were told they were going to shut the line down for a wedding. They said we were free to mingle and wait. …
Just okay. Visit is for the atmosphere. by sschlager via Citysearch on 8/3/2011
Donuts were ok. Tasted like Walmart donuts. When your in line you can see all the proccessed premade bulk products. Aparently they dont make anything fresh.
My wife and I enjoyed ourselves even with the wait in line.
Dont try the cake…
AWESOME!!!!! by GMart76 via Citysearch on 7/21/2011
I love voodoo dolls and old dirty bastard's! Any day, any time, anywhere. And yes, I'll take 2 more.

I took my friends from out of town to their downtown location and they were so impressed. Keep it up guys.
Cultural Phenomenon by Darchance via Citysearch on 2/21/2011
These are definitely some of the best doughnuts around. Just the site of the big pink box at work and you know your morning is suddenly going to start a whole lot better. Voodoo Doughnut has grown into a cultural phenomenon in Portland,…

Bacon and maple. Need I say more.
Tangfastic doughnuts, cool shop, lines need to go! by toddvania2 via Citysearch on 1/31/2011
This was quite hard, because I like the doughnuts so much, but I don't like waiting in huge lines. I know, I know. You're saying "so go to the Sandy location!" I did. Two separate times, and they were out of the doughnuts I…
What is all the fuss about? by pixie29 via Citysearch on 1/5/2011
So since we moved to Portland we have seen SO much publicity for Voodoo and couldn't wait to go there. We even went later at night since that is what the advertise! Well the case was 1/2 empty, the line took forever (and it wasn't even…
They don't take pennies. by bust a bucket via Citysearch on 1/5/2011
I went to voodoo doughnuts the other day and it was pathetic. I usually don't write reviews, but I was compelled to after my experience. I was served by a rude woman with a self proclaimed dislike for doughnuts. She said" she just liked…
don't waste your time by bruman via Citysearch on 1/3/2011
Twice now I've been to voodoo and both times I have bitten into a doughy uncooked donut. Seriously, this is the only donut place I've ever been to that sucks. Who sells raw donuts. These people obviously don't have there act together.\r
Best dognuts ever! by Cherish Ceremonies via Citysearch on 10/19/2010
A foodie trip to Portland is not complete until you bask in the warm glow of the sugar rush from a VooDoo Doughnut. Be prepared to wait for the exotic bacon Maple Bars. They go as fast as they come out in the case!

The Magic truly is in the Hole by Ecko Canada via Citysearch on 4/16/2010
Love this place. Usually when traveling home to California I am required to deliver at least 3 dozen random donuts to my family & friends there. While you can find donuts everywhere part of the charm is the unique staff (we are in Portland…
