From my childhood on, I always liked talking to people, interacting with them, getting to know them and getting to know their stories. I'm a story guy. I like listening to stories, and I like solving problems. I'm always out for it. Medicine in a way provided a pathway for me to express all of those things. It gives me the chance to just listen to people, listen to their problems, help them whenever they need it. They need that help most when they're at their most vulnerable, which is when they're sick. So, medicine was a perfect combination for me.
