Whether it's a relaxing Swedish massage or a post-event sports massage, at Asclepieion Massage Therapy we practice the Art & Science of Healing Bodywork. Our emphasis is on helping you maintain a healthy body! Our approach is centered on improving your body's natural functions. We believe that the different parts of the body make up a unified whole, and that the body has a natural ability to heal. The entire body can be mobilized to help reduce pain and increase function and ease of movement. Through effective massage and manual therapy, your innate healing ability will be stimulated and maximized. With over 3,500 hours of clinical experience in settings that include sports and rehabilitation clinics to high-end resorts, I have had great success using manual therapy to reduce chronic pain and treat the following conditions: Low-back pain and sciatica Neck strain and trauma Headaches and migraines Tendinopathies (Tennis or Golfer's elbow) Plantar Fasciitis Frozen shoulder and Rotator Cuff injuries TMJ Dysfunction Carpal Tunnel I often use more than one technique in order to tailor the session to your needs. Part of a great therapeutic experience is finding a skilled professional therapist. I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in Arizona, Colorado and Oregon, and have completed 1,000 hours of continuing education in Osteopathic Manual Practice (OMP). I am an active member of AMTA and ABMP, and a former operating room nurse.
