Veda Yoga Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community through education, instruction and guidance in the scientific principles of yoga, as originally taught in the Vedic literatures of ancient India, in order to assist individuals and society at large, in awakening their full “spiritual potential”. The name Veda Yoga was inspired by the sacred scriptures of ancient India. Veda in sanskrit means “knowledge,” and yoga means “union”. So the compound Veda Yoga indicates the path to enlightenment (Yoga; union with the Divine), that is guided by the great wisdom tradition of ancient India (Veda). Thousands of years ago the primordial Veda was put into writing, and its teachings touch on every dimension of the human condition, so that whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, the Vedas offer hymns, philosophy, and guidance designed to take you to the next level.
