I moved to this great country when I was four years old from India. My parents, like all immigrants, wanted a better life for their children and worked hard to give it my family. We are a living testament to the American Dream. ? Elk Grove has been my home since 1992. My children grew up here playing in public parks and attending local schools. My brother is a small business owner here and my parents are retired and live in this community. ? The people of this city have given me so much and through public service I’ve worked to give back. I’ve been on the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Trustees for the last eight years.
