The Mercantile Shop is a collaboration between childhood friends, celebrity stylist and fashion editor, Monica Schweiger and small business owner, Kelly Ferris. The Mercantile Shop found its home in a little slice of heaven Healdsburg,CA in Spring 2012. Modernizing the concept of an old fashioned General Store or Mercantile, the Merc Shop creates a one-stop shop for a highly curated selection of primarily small production/California designers. Departments include men’s & women’s clothing, accessories, housewares, gifts, pantry items and various novelties. The Mercantile Shop is based on a simple motto: “Stuff we like, goods you need!”
