His son, Alexander Haagen IV, has also been A key figure in the operation and growth of the grounds, including its restaurants. Since 1993, the Empire Polo Club grounds have been leased annually to Goldenvoice (A subsidiary of AEG) for major music festivals like Coachella and Stagecoach.
