In-N-Out is better. by an_z2 via Citysearch on 11/9/2006
I don't see how anyone considers Ruby's Diner's burgers to be good. It is ordinary in everyway. I dined at this joint three times and each time it tasted like grease. The food tasted like they had been cooked in used cooking oil, the…

good burgers by william n. via Judy's Book on 9/4/2005
This place is reliable for good burgers and fries. The atmosphere is fun. My favorite local is the one at the Huntington pier, but there is usually a long wait and bring a jacket because it does get cold if you have to wait outside.

The burgers are pretty good, especially if you get a shake to go along with it. Portions are filling. Fantastic clam chowder and chilli. Desserts are not bad either.

Very tasty 50's diner. I suggest the guacamole burger and share some chicken tenders beforehand. They also have good onion rings if that's your thing.
ruby's diner review by Candice T. via Judy's Book on 8/8/2005
The restaurant is nice enough, with a slight old country feeling and well-spaced booths and tables. Service was competent and polite. There were only a few tables occupied when we got there, but service, still, was very slow. It took over…
classic diner by J L via Insider Pages on 3/2/2005
Ruby's is a fun place to go to. With this particular location, you also get a view of the (man-made) Woodbridge lake. All the classic diner foods are good here....milkshakes, burgers, chili cheese fries, sandwiches, etc. They get busy…
