The Renaissance International School is a Montessori school in Oakland, California. It has a strong music, art and language immersion program. The school has a tri-lingual immersion program. Students in the primary years begin learning a second language. They are taught in English and Spanish or English and French. At the Elementary level, students add a third language. Teachers are native speakers. The school was founded in 1992 by Leslie Hites, who continues to serve as Head of School.
