Dr. Hira Ahmad is a board-certified UCI Health pediatric surgeon. She earned her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. She completed a residency in general surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fla., followed by a fellowship in pediatric colorectal surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Next, she completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle.
