Dr. Ali Afsari is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in anatomic pathology. He earned his medical degree at the Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. He completed a residency in pathology at the Howard University College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in surgical pathology at George Washington University Hospital, both in Washington, D.C. Next, he completed a fellowship in gastrointestinal pathology at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
