We are a Buddhist women's monastery within one hours drive of Palm Springs, CA. Our mission is to provide a place for bhikkhunis (nuns) to live, study, and meditate. We are able to do this by relying on volunteers and voluntary donations. Volunteer lay stewards are provided with free room and board, free internet, meditation instructions, and the use of an extensive library of Buddhist books.
