Original NY Style Pizza and Italian Restaurant is truly a family business. Opened in 1991. Italian owners Raffaele and Carmela came to Colorado with one goal in mind, to bring the best pizza and Italian food to this region. Which is to keep things simple, tasty and create a home-like cozy atmosphere for our Restaurant’s visitors. Daniela, their daughter now runs the restaurant so that they can enjoy retired life. Thank you for supporting our family! We wish you Buon Appetito!

My Review by Astra2009 on 12/31/2012 via Citysearch

This is excellent pizza and I don't find the service to be rude or unfriendly. I will go back again and again.

I'll give you the service isnt great, by JasonS649 on 3/6/2012 via Citysearch

I'll give you the service isnt great, but this is as close to authentic NY Pizza that you will get in CO. When I go to get a couple slices, that last thing I care about service. The fact that they walk your food to the table is…

Horrible Service-Terrible Foood by 80020lovr on 9/25/2011 via Citysearch

I have frequented this place several times trying to grasp why people go back. The place is dirty, the kitchen is a disaster, and the food is inconsistent. Ralph the owner is rude, just plan rude. I can not understand why people put up…

Rude Ralph by AR3 on 6/10/2011 via Citysearch

I have to agree with Ralph (the owner) having an attitude and being rude. Haven't been to that place since like 5 years for that reason...

Don't Bother Rewarding S#$% Service and Passable Pizza. by Paul S on 3/14/2011 via Insider Pages

My father is from New York, my Wife is from New York, and I visit both her and my family in New York (both in the city and out in the burbs) at least once a year and the guy running this place doesn't deserve to call it a New York…

Excellent pizza by tagliaferri umberto on 1/22/2011 via Citysearch

A very good pizza. word of Italian. Good like a real Italian pizza. Delicious cannoli and excellent espresso. I met Carmela and Raphael (the owners) when I came to Broomfield from Italy in September. I will spend a year in Broomfield to…

GREAT SERVICE, BETTER PIZZA by Mikaela S on 12/12/2010 via Insider Pages

This was the most incredible pizza I've had since coming to Colorado and I can't get enough. You'll see me in there, eatin' pizza, cuttin' up with Ralph while he's sitting with me at my table! Ralph and Carmela are 2 of the most…

Can't get enough! by Kristen S. on 12/11/2010 via Judy's Book

Good: The eggplant parm was PHENOMENAL! I don't like eggplant but always give it a chance when involved in meals and recommended by the waitress and I will not eat it anywhere else!. Bad: The wait was about 15 minutes, but what can you do?…

GOOD FOOD, VERY CASUAL by sophiasmitty on 11/29/2010 via Citysearch

For a casual, easy going time out with family and friends Original NY Style Pizza is it. Very busy Friday and Saturday nights, so patience is a virtue. Typical NY attitude, which is loads of fun when you play it up. Good pizza, Great…

RUDE - HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS! by Jeff0020 on 10/28/2010 via Citysearch

I have eaten here many several times. The pizza is good but the service is horrible and the guy making the pizza "Ralph" is the rudest person I have ever layed eyes on! It amazes me this place stays in business with him around. His…

boring at best by KYEguy on 8/29/2010 via Citysearch

If you want an attitude from the guy behind the counter and you want to be abused and belittled, this is the place to go. Be on your toes and walk on eggshells because the insults will take you off guard if you're not ready for them. Oh,…

Pizza! by amy g on 3/17/2010 via Insider Pages

Sometimes the wait is long, but the food has always been good. the staff have always been friendly, they have good lunch specials.

awful pizza by conanm on 1/20/2010 via Citysearch

Far from anything resembling original New York style pizza. They don't even use fresh garlic, it tasted like old garlic from a jar and sprinkled on top of the pizza. Yuk.

We Love Original Pizza by jcdinco on 12/12/2009 via Citysearch

I'm a Jersey Girl, transplanted to Colorado in 1975. Have been hunting for great pizza for years and found it at Original NY Pizza. Thin crust, sauce with just enough kick and yummy melted cheese on top. We like our crust a little crispy…

Original the New York Style Pizza is awful by Shannon D on 9/13/2009 via Insider Pages

Terrible service, barely average food. Not worth the 45 minute wait. The staff were unfriendly and the pizza was not very good. I'm from the NY area and am used to grease, but this had very little flavor. I go to places first for…

Long wait for burnt pizza by JAY42 on 8/4/2009 via Citysearch

It took well over an hour to get a pizza. They first said priority was being given to carry out orders; then said pizza order was marked as completed. When we finally got pizza it was burnt.

Skip It by commonopinion on 8/3/2009 via Citysearch

Probably one of the most unpleasant lunch experiences I've had. The staff constantly belittled every customer as they ordered, and treated them as a burden when delivering their food. They hassled many guests about coupons, overcharged us…

Best Pizza in the Area...Not Just Broomfield. by MrTT on 6/30/2008 via Citysearch

As someone who lived in New Jersey a half hour from Manhattan for 19 years, I can say with confidence this is the real deal. The bad attitude is part of the whole experience. If you don't like it, go to Pizza Hut.\r \r As for the workers…
