Publix has always been my supermarket of choice. In Gainesville you can't drive very far without seeing one of these stores. The Tower Rd. Publix is clean with a very friendly staff. It gets very busy on Gator gamedays.

Publix is pretty busy and full of college students. They do have good prices and don't make you use a card or do the 10 for $10 crap that Albertson's does. PROS: Go prices, no card CONS: busy

Each Publix in town carries a different selection of special items. Publix on Tower Road carries best selection of cheeses. You can use coupons and never have a problem with them.
