Luciano Fiszer-Adler, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in bariatric /weight-loss surgery and surgical procedures of the digestive tract. Dr. Fiszer-Adler has been in medical practice for over 10 years, providing expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgery.Dr. Fiszer-Adler received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Facultad de Ciencias Me´dicas, Favaloro University in Argentina. After medical school, he furthered his training in the U.S. with a surgery internship at Mount Sinai Hospital, a surgery residency at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic, and a bariatric surgery fellowship at University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Fiszer-Adler also holds multiple certifications in advanced surgical techniques. Dr. Fiszer-Adler is an active member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, among other professional societies. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
