Housing and Assistive Technology, Inc. (HAT) is a South Florida nonprofit specializing in residential rehabilitation inspections, construction specifications, cost estimating, accessibility evaluations, and assistive technology home modifications. Our mission is to improve quality of life and maximize independence for seniors and individuals with disabilities. We remove architectural barriers, complete critical housing repairs, and implement customized design adaptations and assistive technology solutions. HAT partners with city and county housing programs, including HUD-funded initiatives, to deliver safe, code-compliant, and financially responsible improvements tailored to each resident’s unique needs.
