Prior to Hurricane Charley destroying my building, I was Punta Gorda 1st authentic Italian Restaurant. I sold it to my manager after the Hurricane, which he did not take the restaurant in the right direction. I have bought it back and renamed Monty's to Old Monty's to let our customers know the original working owner for 22 years, Diane, is back with all your old favorite authentic Italian dishes and my Award winning pizza. Using the original recipes and ingredients. I have worked hard putting this back the way it was, creating the welcoming atmosphere and a fast friendly staff, just at a different location.
