Dr. Velez is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon specializing in spine care at St. Joseph's/Sandy Springs, Windy Hill, and Johns Creek locations. Dr. Velez completed his fellowship at OrthoCarolina Spine Center and earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Velez is an active member of numerous professional organizations including Surgeons, North American Spine Society, and Atlanta Spine Society.
