Are you dreaming of days gone by when Hot Rods and Harley’s ruled the road? Girls wore poodle skirts, penny loafers and ponytails and the guys were cool. Well quit dreaming, fire-up your engines and grab your sweetheart and cruise into the Wayback Cafe´. The cafe´ is a hard-to-miss pink building with blue trim just off 21st Street in Lewiston, ID. Everything about the building is 50’s retro from the flashing neon sign to the blue 54’ Chevy with pink flames on a 15’ pedestal. It’s like a time warp man. . . . Check out the nostalgic atmosphere created by its owners Tim and Theresa Rivers who bought the restaurant in August of 1997. Satisfy your appetite and feast your eyes as local classic cars cruise the Wayback all summer long.
