Niemerg’s Steakhouse opened September 1, 1978. We are a locally owned, independent restaurant proud to have served over twenty-four million customers over the last 40 years. A proud tradition we have adhered to over the years has been the preparation of more made – from – scratch food items in grandmother’s style than any other restaurant in the area. We make all of our own salads, many of our salad dressings, daily luncheon and dinner specials, and numerous baked goods which would make any grandmother proud. I have been eating at Niemergs for quite some time now and I see the quality of the food getting worse. The prices are great but not worth the quality.

I Love this restaurant... the best sandwich in my opinion is the butcher block.. yummmmmm but, if you want fried chicken then you'll be in for a treat.. it's the best fried chicken i've ever had.

Niemerg's Family Restaurant is where my grandparents always take us to eat when we visit, and I have to say that the food is great--I'm especially fond of the horseshoe sandwich and the Filet Mignon.
