These are works of art from cultures that are disappearing. While commercial productions has increased in recent years, the weaving of fine rugs is a dying art. We believe fine rugs should be properly maintained to preserve their lasting value. Heirloom provides the finest cleaning and restorative services available. Our modern plant facility serves fine rug retailers, in-home cleaning companies, flood and fire restoration firms and owners of rugs throughout the northern suburbs of Chicago. We offer pick-up and delivery services. Handmade rugs are woven in villages, small towns and larger commercial centers of Eastern Europe, across the Middle East and East Asia. The weavers skill and access to raw materials and dyes varies. This means that each rug requires different treatment for cleaning, an approach that is impossible with large commercial cleaning operations.
