Alloy Steel

The benefits of alloy steel include its tensile strength, yield strength, fatigue resistance, toughness, and wear resistance. Castle offers a broad array of alloys and product forms in aircraft, commercial, bearing, and VAR qualities including bar, plate, sheet, and tube.

    Carbon Steel

Carbon steel is more commonly used than any other metal, and has long been admired for its versatility and low cost. Castle stocks a complete selection of carbon steel in an extraordinary range of grades and sizes in bar, plate, and tube.

      Aluminum

Admired for its lightweight, high strength to weight ratio, high corrosion resistance, high thermal and electrical conductivity, and ease of machinability. Castle's broad selection of aluminum is available in cold finished and extruded rod and bar, wrought and cast plate, pipe and tubing, and sheet. We can provide material in a myriad of standard sizes, or custom processed to meet your specific requirements.

        Stainless Steel

Engineers and product designers in many highly critical applications look to benefit from stainless steel and its remarkable attributes including corrosion resistance, high strength, durability, and machinability. Castle markets a vast array of stainless steel products and grades, working closely with customers to provide highly engineered and custom solutions to today's demanding applications.

          Nickel

Castle Metals is one of the largest global distributors of nickel-based alloys. The high performance alloy provides outstanding resistance to corrosion and high temperature environments. Nickel alloys are used in a variety of industries, such as aerospace, marine, power generation, oil & gas, chemical processing, food processing and medical. Plate, tubing, billet, and special extrusions are available on an inquiry basis.

            Titanium

Titanium metals are used heavily in aerospace and marine components due to the high tensile strength to density ratio, high corrosion, crack, and creep resistance. Depending on the application, titanium can be alloyed with zirconium, vanadium, aluminum, or other elements to make the components more robust.

              Chrome

A complex process used for both cosmetic and functional purposes for long wear life on component or production parts. A thin plate of chromium is deposited by electrolysis on a corrodible metal, giving a bright, metallic surface which is highly resistant to tarnish. It provides lubricity and a surface hardness, is crack-free, and both corrosion and heat resistant.

                Brass

The benefits of copper and brass include its high electrical conductivity, good machining and fabrication characteristics, as well as a variety of decorative and ornamental applications. Castle's inventory of copper and brass products is available in a variety of grades and sizes in bar, plate, sheet, and tube.

                  Cast Iron

Characterized by its excellent strength, ease of fabrication and machinability, and its relative low cost, cast iron provides several design and production advantages. Castle stocks a variety of cast iron bar and tube products. Continuous Cast Bar combines good wear resistance and vibration dampening, along with high strength and excellent machinability, to provide superior product for a variety of applications and manufacturing processes.
