Dr. Ziad F. Issa practices clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the Prairie Cardiovascular - Springfield, where he has served since 2005. He brings extensive experience in clinical electrophysiology, including cardiac device implantation, lead extraction, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, and left atrial appendage closure procedures using Watchman, Amulet and Lariat devices. A prominent researcher in cardiac arrhythmias, Dr. Issa has participated in numerous clinical trials and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
