Welcome to Kay Gottrich LCPC, your preferred counselor in Springfield, IL and the surrounding area. I offer counseling services for those individuals working through a variety of issues. Each client is unique and counseling requires the ability to thread together recurring themes to define root issues in a way that the client understands. I work with the reasons why you do what you do and then create a way to stop the behavior that is producing unwanted results and pain. I also specialize in EMDT therapy. EMDR therapy combines many different elements to maximize its benefits and has been extensively researched and proven effective for trauma patients.
