You can also get specialty services like extensions, hair systems, wigs and hair pieces and shop from our extensive line of professional products, including Aveda, Bosley, Goldwell, Pureology, Redken, Rusk, OPI, and more. And, if we don't carry your favorite product, we'll custom order it for you. History Established in 1985 Salon 21 opened their first salon in Bolingbrook 28 years ago but moved to Danada Square West in the growing south Wheaton area 6 years later. To meet their growing client demands for quality salon and spa services, Salon 21 expanded to their current 3,565 square foot area, making them one of the largest salons in Wheaton. Current services include, hair cutting, coloring, straightening, perming, styling, manicures and pedicures, massages, facials, face and body waxing, body wraps, far infrared sauna treatments and more. A specialty area of this salon is the sale and servicing of wigs, creating a caring and comfortable environment for cancer patients. A certified wig specialist is on staff to fit, color, cut and style the wigs. Other products for hair and skin care are also available for sale including Aveda, Pureology, Aquage, Matrix. GK Hair, Morroccanoil, and more. Meet the Business Owner: Rella G. I was born and raised in Chicago with nine brothers and sisters. I thought about doing hair my whole life and used my siblings as my clients. I married when I was 21 years old, later gave birth to two wonderful boys, graduated from Elmhurst College with a business degree, got a beauty license and followed my passion for hair. In 1985 I opened my first beauty shop and knew this was it for me. I've owned Salon 21 for 28 years and never get tired of the work - in fact, it's hard to think of it as work. It is so rewarding to make someone feel good about the way they look. It is not in many businesses that your clients give you hugs every day! I have been widowed for 18 years now, but my life is full and happy. I love to dance, have a wonderful man in my life (he dances!), lots of good friends (most of them I've met at the beauty shop) and now that you know about me, I would like to meet you. Stop in one day soon and say hello. I would like to meet you and even do your hair!
