fxchurch (Foot of the Cross) meets at the Banneker Community Center in Bloomington, IN on Sundays at 10:10am. fxchurch places an emphasis on scripture, discipleship, and the local church. Sunday worship includes Biblical expository teaching book-by-book, worship, prayer, and community. Dress is casual, come as you are. fxchurch is an SBC church. fxchurch is committed to cooperating with outside partner organizations and missionaries to show Christ to the world. We give 15% of our general offering to missions. We desire that all believers in Jesus be a member of a local Bible believing church and if not ours we pray you would commit somewhere.

I got connected to fxchurch when I was a freshman in college in 2016 and I have never left. They are the reason that I decided to stay in Bloomington and plant my roots here. High emphasis on preaching through Scripture, book-by-book, verse-by-verse. Full of kind and loving people who model Christ's faithfulness to one another and bear one another's burdens. They place an emphasis on missions (praying for, sending, and going) and give 15% of every dollar away to missions. I've had the opportunity to go on mission trips to Ecuador three times now to partner and encourage local churches and have seen my heart for missions grow while at fxchurch.They also have all of their annual budgets online and they are very transparent about the church's finances which I appreciate as someone who gives to the church.
