Dr. Codey L. Fontenot, a native of Iota, Louisiana, joined The Baton Rouge Clinic's Internal Medicine Department in 2014 and is making Baton Rouge home for his wife and himself. Dr. Fontenot earned his B.S. from LSU in Baton Rouge in 2008 before moving to Shreveport to earn his M.D. from the the LSU School of Medicine in 2011. He then performed his residency in Internal Medicine through LSU Health, in combination with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, completing it in 2014. Certified to practice Internal Medicine in Louisiana, Dr. Cody L. Fontenot is a member of the Louisiana State Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. Among his hobbies are outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and of course, as expected of an LSU graduate, football.
