3739 Perkins Rd Baton Rouge, LA 70808
When the Juban family opened their restaurant in 1983 Esquire Magazine crowned Juban's Restaurant one of the Best New Restaurants in America Creole cuisine. The menu is as varied as it is delicious, with dishes ranging from local fish, seafood, and gumbos, to a fine selection of beef, veal, lamb and fowl. Member of the Hospitality Association and the Louisiana Restaurant Association.

This is one of my new favorite restaurants. A friend recommended Juban's, and we were not disappointed. The salads are huge and delicious. The Alleluia Crab and Adrian were great. I would also recommend the white chocolate raspberry…
Juban's by Erin B on 2/27/2010 via Insider Pages
The main food was great, however I would not have served any of the side dishes. I was amazed at the poor quality and taste of the side dishes. Maybe they figure people don't really eat those, because the main part of the dish was…
Gumbo was great. by Laura T on 2/12/2010 via Insider Pages
Don't let the location turn you off. It is located in a rundown strip mall but this restaurant is nicely cared for with a tasteful decor. We had the gumbo which was great and a crab appetizer that was also very tasty.

I have traveled to Baton Rouge before but tend to eat at The Kingfish as I almost always stay in the Hilton, this time a few locals mentioned this place. I was dissapointed that I wouldn't be dining where we had originally planned (Ruth's…

Expensive but worth it by emilynf1 on 6/12/2007 via Citysearch
I would recommend this place for a special occasion of some sort. Definitely not a place you would go on a normal weeknight but it is very romantic and absolutely delicious. I've never had their catering but I've heard people say it's…
The BEST of Baton Rouge! by rkrealtorva on 4/12/2006 via Citysearch
Juban's restaurant is a hidden jewel of a restaurant that rivals the best in New Orleans. Creole cuisine can be somewhat heavy, but Juban's innovative contemporary Creole dishes are sure to please those who find traditional South…
