After over 30 years in the Bossier City real estate market, I have learned many valuable lessons about buying and selling real estate and most importantly dealing with people. When I started out, I made a statement that went something like this, “If my only reason for doing this business is for the money…I’m getting out.”
Many real estate agents in our market (probably every market) work only for the money. I know they say differently, but it’s not hard to figure it out after spending 20-30 days having to deal with them. I refuse to name names, but I thought I would write a quick post and tell everyone in the Shreveport real estate market I’m still in it to help people find their home or sell their existing one. Zig Ziglar said, “If you help enough people get what they want…you will get what you want.”
After hearing him say that at a National event I decided that was a great attitude and would take any emphasis off of me and or money and put it square on the most important thing…my client. He’s something else you may like to know.
I’ve reached one of those periods with my life where I’m reflecting about how much influence I’ve had within the Shreveport Bossier City market. Also on how many of my objectives I’ve achieved since starting in 1988. In 2018 I’ll turn fifty-five, it seems like only the other day I was graduating from college.
On the list of accomplishments, I’m most proud of is how I’ve parented my kids. My wife and I have reared four children, two daughters, and two sons. Each one of them has already had many achievements. They are successful in the life, and they each have decided on a career path. I couldn’t be more proud of my children.
I realize most of this does not have much to do with the Shreveport Bossier real estate market, but it has everything to do with what makes me a top real estate agent. I believe being grounded and having a family I care about helps make me a better Realtor. So if what you are looking for is a real estate agent that has a life away from his career as an agent I’m your guy.
I have studied the real estate transaction; I was looking for a place I could help my clients add value to their real estate transaction. What I noticed was in almost every case furniture was getting moved in or out.
So I came up with the idea, “Why not move the furniture for my client?” So I came up with an idea no one else was doing in this market: “Buy and Sell using Me, and I will move You for FREE!!” Pretty cool, huh? It costs my clients nothing more, and they get their furniture moved for free.

Glenda Aycock Realtor is very trustworthy. She goes above and beyond to explain everything she does. Even the behind the scene stuff is explained thoroughly. She makes sure everything she is doing is right with you.

I worked with Glenda back in 2008 and again a few years ago. It's a pleasure every time. I will always call her when I am looking to buy or sell because she has proven to be the best.
