Searing Electric & Plumbing was established in Longview, Washington on August 1st, 1971 We specialize in electric & plumbing supplies and over the years our product lines have increased to include a full line of hardware items. Even though we have increased in size we have not lost our mission to give exceptional customer service.
About Searing Electric & Plumbing - George Searing started Searing Electric & Plumbing in 1971. He learned the retail business from working at Pay-n-Pak (formerly T&T) for 12 years. He began in a 1,500 square foot building on Vandercook Way. The business steadily grew and in 1976 was moved to its present location on 802 Vandercook way.
Son Chris Searing came home after college to work full time at the store. Chris bought the store in 1986. The store has steadily grown to our 14,000 square foot sales area.
We have maintained from day one George's philosophy to give excellent customer service.
We believe in the Cowlitz County community. We sponsor little league teams, donate to many local charities and are strong supporter of our local community.

Great store. The employees are so helpful and have a great knowledge of home improvement supplies. They can even show you how to do most jobs without any problems.
