Hood Design is a branding and design consultancy based in Boston. Jim Hood's practice works across print, web, signage, and environmental design toward creating unified and memorable brand experiences. Jim's projects are diverse: from incised black granite signage at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, letterpress printed diplomas for the Harvard Graduate School of Design, to Red Osier Drift, a sculptural installation of over 600 seven foot high red stained balsam stakes at Old South Church located in Boston's Copley Square. Across this range of projects a common process of research, collaboration, and thoughtful resolution of detail arrives at compelling work with purpose, refinement, and emotional connection.
