He is a graduate of Indira Gandhi Medical College, Nagpur University. Dr. Chander has extensive postgraduate training in internal medicine and cardiology from various institutions abroad and in the United States such as: Portiuncula Hospital, Ireland; Griffin Hospital/Yale University, CT; and Albany Medical Center, NY.
