Architect who has written several design books. "In Julia's Kitchen, Practical and Convivial Kitchen Design Inspired by Julia Child" was released 2016. The typical open US kitchen fosters obesity, so I advocate creative ways to have the space open or closed. I also wrote two books on the architectural mirror and enjoy using it in design. Biophilic design, aging in place, and solar design are other interests. I remodel kitchens, design large estates, and "Boomer Abodes". Flexibility, energy efficiency, comfort and charm are goals.
