Companion Animal Clinic is located at 235 Hospital Street Augusta, Maine. We offer a full range of services for cats and dogs. Our medical services include wellness care and preventative vaccinations, flea and tick treatment, and sick care. To diagnose and treat illness we use a variety of in-house options which include blood work, digital x-ray, EKG, urinalysis and fecal exams, basic ultrasound, and more. Further testing if needed is available through outside laboratories and/or professional referrals. Most of the medications we prescribe are available through our on-site pharmacy. Our surgical and anesthetic offerings include elective surgery (spay, neuter, declaw), soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, radiosurgery, and dentistry. For maximum safety under anesthesia we utilize pre-surgical blood testing, a combination of injectable and gas anesthesia, and EKG and respiratory monitoring plus blood pressure.
