Our Ciao Bella Collection brand and curated items are representative of “Big City Style and Small Town Charm”—combining city fashion trends and new looks blended with a modern rustic atmosphere and the personalized friendly service that is known to come within a very small town. We are a boutique that bring the city to the town without losing the charm in how we deliver service to everyone visiting us. We work with the big city fashion designers, the small town one-of-a-kind mom and pop shops, the creative single parents working from home with homemade or customized individual creations. You won’t find consignment here—only brand new and carefully hand curated clothing, footwear, jewelry, and gift store items. Through either personally touring local shops, speaking directly with local artisans, or visiting big fashion trade shows across the country and following up with vendors personally, the owner Catherine Mansfield ensures the quality and value of each product and service that is offered through this selective curation process. Each product and service is representative of our brand’s mission, vision, and values while balancing the unique nature of various products to deliver something new and refreshing with the needs and desires of the Central Maine area shopper. Ciao Bella or “Hello Beautiful” in Italian, speaks to our mission of inclusivity, empowerment, and true beauty. We believe true beauty is best defined internally through self-love, worth, strong values, and selfless caring towards others. Trends and style guide the fashion world but ultimately, how you feel about yourself inside and what you choose to wear to feel confident and comfortable is what defines ones overall beauty. Our motto, “Be your own kind of beautiful”, is represented in how our staff engage with customers, provide services during styling and events, the kinds of products we sell, and how we want shoppers to feel visiting and shopping with us. We strive to have each shopper that enters our store, regardless of age, shape, size, ethnicity, gender, or identity, to leave with the pieces that give them the confidence to look into the mirror and say, “Hello Beautiful.” This mission is carried over from daily operations into our in-store events, community outreach, and monthly fundraiser sponsorships.
