The Friendly Tavern is one of Michigan’s oldest existing bars with great tasting daily specials and a warm atmosphere. And while we don’t allow our guests to ride their horses through the bar or shoot their guns off inside anymore, The Friendly still serves up ice cold libations – and great food. Families are welcome!

I have never had a bad meal at the Friendly Tavern. Only once did I have a problem and that probably was my own fault. Ordered a salad and it had Granny apples in it and they were green!!
