Hobies Cafe and Pub in East Lansing, MI is a family owned restaurant and bar right around the corner from Michigan State University. Hobies has been providing homemade delicious soups, sandwiches, wraps and salads to nearly three generations of MSU students, faculty and staff and it has not changed much since it first opened its doors in 1962.

The soups are fabuous from the classic Hobie's Clam Chowder to the Golden Cheddar and Broccoli to their Michigan Bean with Ham--they're delicious. Go with a friend, both order soup, then split one of their delicious & unique sandwiches!

I have not found a soup I like as much as Hobies cheddar brocoli. And you can buy it in larger sizes to take home. The weather changing it's the perfect time to have soup. Very friendly staff!
