Eden Prairie is a suburb that beholds a slice of Italy---Campiello brings rustic contemporary Italian food to the business-lunch world. Think upscale-yet-casual, refined-but-approachable. And let the food speak for itself: crispy… Read Full Editorial

Food: Meh; Extensive Wine List for Wine Lovers by twuollet via Menuism on 3/5/2012
The food was ok at best. There were one or two vegetarian options, but I didn't see any vegan options....

fine italian dining! by Sarah J via Insider Pages on 1/25/2009
Expect to find your more traditional food than any other restaurant in town. Phenomenal service, great food presentation, quality and flavor. The atmosphere is a traditional Tuscan! Quality definitely comes with a price, though!

Campiello's is one of the nicest Italian restaurants in town. They have a great outdoor eating area and their wood fired pizza is out of this world. Great!!

Pretty bad. We've been going here for a number of years and had good luck. Bad luck the last time but we gave it a pass. This time, unfortunately, confirmed this restaurant has gone down hill in a big way.\r

Fried to perfection calamari and delicious guilt free pizza by tandc via Citysearch on 10/9/2007
I took my parents for dinner Sunday and they fell in love! Everytime I am here, I always get the calamari for starters- its fried to perfection and the dipping sauce compliments it very well. We also ordered the sicilian meatballs and…
Service good, food average and overpriced by nyexport via Citysearch on 8/4/2007
Service was very attentive although waitress spent an age going through their 'monthly specials'. Decor had a chain restaurant feel to it, not expected at these prices.\r

Gnocchi with sausage and tomato was average, as was the pasta…
A festive atmosphere and rustic Northern Italian menu keep things down-to-earth at this elegant Eden Prairie restaurant. by Contributor via Citysearch on 7/20/2006
In Short
The atmosphere is high-class without being snobby, as is the wait staff. Everyone, from the blue-jeaned to the all-in-black, fits right in. You won't even notice the wait for a table once you're seated at the elegant…
We heard such great things by ggx2 via Citysearch on 4/18/2006
Its unfortunate really. This place looks like it could really be something, but unfortunately its not. My fiancee and I stopped for dinner to find excellent service and a very acceptable outside dinning area. However this is where the…

Once Was, But Not Now by paul4508 via Citysearch on 12/21/2005
Just had a holiday party last night at Campiellos and I must say that the food is not as good. To say the least, I was disappointed. The service remains good, but the food has lost its complex flavors. I had a pork pasta with a Reduced"…
Great food, great specials by Krista P via Insider Pages on 11/29/2005
This place is great. it can be a bit pricey if you go during normal hours, but if you do the early dinner (before 5 I believe) you can have a 3 course dinner with full portions and a glass of wine for $22! Their bread is awesome, and their…
Overrated by geraldbrimacombe via Citysearch on 7/21/2003
Campiello is an overrrated, overpriced restaurant. I had a single serving pizza that was practically tasteless . . . for $11, no less! Lots of atmosphere, but offers food of very questionable quality and poor value. Never again.
Warm & Friendly by kateannie via Citysearch on 1/4/2003
We find that Campiello's has the warmth and ambiance of the finest restuarants in the Twin Cities along with wonderful food and friendly service. We have made this our "special" place for any celebration.
a little taste of North Beach by adebie via Citysearch on 11/9/2002
When I first arrived here from San Francisco, I was thrilled when I discoverd this place. Having been forewarned that the burbs if the twin cities would not be the hot bed of haut cusine, Campiello was a very pleasant surprise. It can…
DeLIGHTful by Mandster via Citysearch on 9/22/2002
The food was great, went w/ a large group and service was wonderful. Most people had some type of pasta, all was excellent. The kind w/ fresh asparagus is great. The lights on the outside patio set an awesome atmosphere the minute you…
Disappointing by JackJodell via Citysearch on 7/30/2002
I recently ate here and was disappointed. It amazes me how anyone could consider this place romantic---they would have to be love-starved. For one thing, the noise level makes this restaurant anything BUT intimate. The interior is…
What happened to this alll time favorite by kfrazie via Citysearch on 7/24/2002
I used to LOVE going to campiellos for brunch and dinner, but now when you go for brunch you are given only one choice of what to eat - served as a 3 course meal. And the price, geez, definetely not worth it for what you get. I must admit…
