In Short
The airy, white-and-blue dining room with picture windows overlooking the lake is as breezy as a sailboat ride. Husband-and-wife chefs Paul and Laura Laubignat have created a small-town restaurant that is as hospitable… Read Full Editorial

I love Lola's! They have a great gf menu (try the pizzas!), the place is beautiful, and the staff is really friendly. Service started a little slow, but quickly took very good care of us.
Great spot for lunch! by Sarah G via Insider Pages on 2/25/2014
I loved this place! I had a great gf pizza (a rarity!) and my friend loved their buffalo chicken sandwich. The setting is amazing as well. The service was a little slow but we were the first table in there and I know (as a former…

High priced and overrated.
STAY AWAY by Thomas M via Insider Pages on 1/6/2011
Wonderful building and wonderful setting. However, the food is an epic fail. Bland, tasteless, old hospital food is an appropriate description of what will be presented to you if you order any food. So skip the food, order a drink and…
Overpriced & over-rated by Jeannine Beasley via Citysearch on 10/9/2010
I had lunch with a number of friends & co-workers on Thursday, October 8th. It was a gorgeous day & I was\r
looking forward to a reallly nice lunch & visit. The visit\r
was great (very noisy), but the sandwich I ordered was\r

Lola's by Samantha H via Insider Pages on 5/31/2010
The food and service was not good at all- very disappointing. We waited forever to order drinks, then we were forgotten about. We had to keep asking for everything that we needed- considering the prices we were unhappy to say the least.
Great place by Heidi V via Insider Pages on 5/1/2010
Lola's Lakehouse is a great place to soak up some sun on the deck while eating some good food and having a well deserved drink!
Right on the Lake by Sarah W via Insider Pages on 4/16/2010
You can't beat the location...right on the lake! This place is so great for sitting outside with friends and listening to music. LOVE it.
Lola's Lakehouse by Janelle W via Insider Pages on 1/27/2010
I love the food at Lola's. In the summer they have an excellent deck to eat off of overlooking the lake. The have bees at a certain point in the summer so it's better to enjoy the view from indoors. If it wasn't for the bees, it would…
Excellent service by Jeannine13 via Citysearch on 9/14/2009
Last night my boyfriend and I ate at Lola's Lakehouse for the first time. We had driven out to Waconia from Bloomington to get away and explore a new area. I had ordered the Balsamic chicken sandwich, not realizing that it came with some…
Nancy's Landing Restaurant by Chris A via Insider Pages on 12/6/2008
We have been here many times in the summer. You can sit on the deck overlooking the lake. The hamburgers are excellent and the prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this wonderful place.
Awesome Deck on the water. by teddi67 via Citysearch on 9/17/2008
Over the years I had heard great things about Nancy's. It is now called Lola's. Lola needs to talk to Nancy and figure out what Nancy was doing right with the food.and service. We were out just driving around and thought we would check…
Mother's Day brings poor marks for NL by gorrna via Citysearch on 5/14/2007
I'll give Nancy's Landing the benefit of the doubt on typical nights because I've heard from close family members that it provides a good experience on the usual weeknight or weekend, but the Mother's Day 2007 experience we had was…
Great view, great staff= perfect way to enjoy a nice summer meal! by trumanmeg via Citysearch on 7/4/2006
We went to Nancy's after reading the reviews here on CitySearch. It was very much off the beaten path, so be prepared for a drive. Yet the drive was completely worth it. We enjoyed our meal just as the sun was setting and you couldn't as…
What a Great Place! by meddrink via Citysearch on 5/17/2006
We have been going to Nancy's for about 8 years now. We have never been disappointed. Our favorite is sitting outside on the patio in the summer with the kids and having Reubens! They are the best there. It is casual or dressy, you…
Don't Bother by kwinner via Citysearch on 5/13/2006
I am reading the other reviews and wondering what restaurant these people ate at. Yes the view is spectacular, but that's where it ends. The food is sub-par at best, the menu choices extremely limitd, and the service is unacceptably…
Best brunch anywhere! by ostrom via Citysearch on 6/1/2005
We love Sunday brunches and have tried most of the top rated ones in the Metro area. None are as good as Nancy's Landing. The weekly themes are great! Wonderful food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Nothing could be better!

I have enjoyed dining at Nancy's landing since the first day we bought our home in Waconia. The only problem with Paul and Laura's diamond in the rough, was the worn decor and disheveled exterior.
Well that has all been resolved with a…
Worth the drive! by cat_daddy via Citysearch on 11/21/2002
This place is off the beaten path but you will not regret making the effort. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is casual and charming. They are known for their Sunday Brunch Buffet which is great but the regular menu is also…
