Ledgestone Capital Management, LLC is a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). As an RIA, we are compensated by the advisory fee we charge. We do not receive commissions to sell investment products or have hidden fees. By contrast, financial advisors who are employed by banks, insurance companies, and brokerage firms are “registered representatives” of a broker-dealer (B/D). As employees, these advisors may be encouraged to promote in-house products and services that yield the largest commissions for them and greatest profits for the B/D firm. This potentially poses conflicts of interest with clients. As an RIA, we must uphold a “fiduciary” standard. This means we have a legal obligation to put our clients’ interests ahead of our own. As a privately owned firm, we are free from outside influences. We proudly sit on the same side of the table as our clients and simply focus on providing objective, personalized advice. We believe that this approach enables us to serve our clients with no conflict of interest.
