I think one of the things I can bring to the patient-physician relationship is that I tend to be one of the more candid physicians that they've met. I always try to make things as plain as I can and also as realistic as I can. I try to present what we know about a condition or treatment in realistic terms, and if we don't know something I'm open saying that.
