Dr. Christopher Lawrance is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon who treats adult patients ages 18 and older. He specializes in general cardiac surgery, including coronary artery bypass grafting for coronary disease; surgical cardiac ablation for Afib; mechanical circulatory support (e.g. ECMO) for high-risk cardiac surgery and/or cardiogenic shock; TAVR/valvular surgery; aortic surgery for aneurysms and aortic dissections; and pacemaker implantation. Dr. Lawrance is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons; Southern Thoracic Surgical Association; and Extracorporeal Life Support Organization.
